Canadian Championships/ Championnat Canadien
August 16-22, 2009
The Canadian Championship is the premier event for top-level Canadian bowlers. Provincial champions compete head to head in a round robin format with playoffs to decide the champions. The championship includes men's and women's events in single, pairs and fours.

Entry Deadline Number One – by June 8, 2009
Provinces must indicate to BCB in which disciples they intend to enter competitors: Men Singles, Men’s Pairs, Men’s fours, Women’s Singles and Women Pairs, and Women’s Fours.
Entry Deadline Number Two – by July 24, 2009
Provinces must provide BCB with the name, address and event of the players entitled to represent their province in the Championships to the Executive Director or Secretary of BCB immediately upon the completion of the Provincial Championship.
These deadlines are to facilitate the organization of the event like determining the draw and preparing the event program

August 19: Round robin play
August 20: Round robin play
August 21: Round robin play and tie breakers
August 22: Medal rounds and medal ceremonies
August 23: Teams depart
