Canadian Indoor Singles Championships Begin in Vancouver

Ottawa, Ontario | October 31, 2015

Following a fantastic outdoor championship season, bowlers are back on the greens competing at the Canadian Indoor Singles Championships.  Play begins on Monday, November 2nd with medal matches on Saturday, November 7th.  The Pacific Indoors Bowls Club (PIBC) in Vancouver, British Columbia will once again play host this year when ten women and twelve men battle to take top prize and represent Canada at the 2016 World Cup in Warilla, Australia.

2014 women’s champion Kelly McKerihen from Ontario is back to defend her title.  Manitoba’s John Bjornson is looking to continue his winning streak with his second consecutive Indoor Singles Championship and add to his Outdoor Singles Championship gold medal from this past August.
