Fun Facts

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Fruit salad – without pears!

If you’re not at the lawn bowling club, where can we find you?

In the summer it would be the tennis courts or my garden. In the winter it would be a curling club.

What is your favourite bowls memory?

The naming of the selections for the Canadian 2004 World Bowls team, which included my Mom and I.  It was a dream come true to get an international assignment together.  We went on to beat several world champions and brought home Canada’s first women’s pairs medal.

How were you introduced to the sport of bowls?

My Mom, Clarice Fitzpatrick

How would your best friend describe you in three words?

I have been called a kind soul -- nurturing, calm and gentle.

If you could speak another language, what would it be?

What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?

I was a recipient of an NSERC Canada Scholarship
